I am a type 1 Diabetic, I have been since the age of 1.. I am now 23.. and Diet soda will not effect your blood sugars.

Sugar Free doesn’t necessarily mean Carbohydrate Free but in the case of all the diet sodas I am familiar with Sugar Free is Carb Free. I have never eaten anything with Zero Carbs that effect my sugar levels in any way. On the contrary my doctor and dietitian both tell me I can have as much diet soda as I want because it has no effect on my sugar levels..

it should not do any effect on your sugar, but there are some concerns about cola, such as coca cola and coke and ect, but i often have them, and i see my sugar go up a little bit. but any others it should have no effect on your sugar. oh….i know this because i am a type one diabetic.
