I was in a program that sent my meds thru the doc office. If you are born with or get it under the age of 18 you are considered Type 1. As for your question it depends where you live. I live in the Boston area and we have Freecare as well as MassHealth and all of your diabetic supplies and medication are free. So I would do a search in your area or call the local clinics to see if they have a program.
