		<description>did they check her HbA1C?  thats a long term sugar check which is usually cherry on the top for diagnosis.  maybe you should talk to the doctor again, there may have been some facts mixed up.  her sugars sound normal and believe me if she was not producing insulin she would be getting very ill.  I also find it highly unlikely a doctor would let her leave without a prescription for insulin and explaining how to use the needles, how much to take etc...
so i think a phone call to the doc is in order!!!&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;type 1 for 9 years and counting!</description>
