I’ve come to realize I can’t weigh myself weekly if I want to keep any kind of sanity. So I’ll pop on once in a while to check progress but that’s about it. Still keeping on. I need motivation to check my blood sugar more often…..!!

Great job on the 8 pounds! I find it helps to have an alarm, like a watch or somthing. You can get a cheap wrist watch at target or somthing with an alarm. I don’t know if the minimed has alarms that you can set, but if it dose, use it! Good luck with everything!

How about setting up a little reward incentive for checking bg? 4x per day for a week and then take yourself to a movie or something else you’d enjoy? And remember to congratulate yourself each time you you take out the meter and actually do it. It’s not about the number on the meter. It’s about the effort to check and do something about the result . It sounds like you’re valuing yourself more – keep up the good work.
