This is just a little bit of insight on living with Type 1, based on something that happened to me today.

More to come!

    To be honest i …
To be honest i wouldn’t want to talk and about it,i would deal with it and move on.
PS. No offence but look at the views on a popular diets Vlog….yeah not as good as a monkey on a Mini Moto.

    You’ve made a valid …
You’ve made a valid point and didn’t make an of your self in doing so.
I’ll get on with my life and you continue with yours.
    Good day.

    If you had diabetes …
If you had diabetes, you would want to talk to people with it too. Why do you care what i do? BTW, I have another channle where I make other vids.

    i’m not sure why …
i’m not sure why you care who comments on what, or who makes videos on what? youtube is for anyone…. and people who have diabetes like to reach out to other diabetics for support. i’m not really sure what your problem is. you don’t like the videos because you don’t understand the life… so watch something you prefer instead, eh?

    Do you only comment …
Do you only comment on Diabetes videos?

Once I was on a school trip and and my friend ALWAYS asked me ‘can you eat that?’. It can be really annoying. She keept telling me about her grandfather with type 2. Good luck with everything!

    i do have …
i do have depression as well, currently i’m not medicated for it because i find those drugs always make me feel crazy rather than better. i really want to be a diabetes educator when i’m out of nursing school so i hope to be a good influence on others… but i need to get my life straightened first! the best advice i give myself is to just look at one day at a time. or even one hour at a time. if i start seeing a big picture i get frustrated. thanks for commenting :)

i love my pump. but …
i love my pump. but then again, i was only on injections for 6 months before i started the pump, so its pretty much only how i know diabetes. it’s up to you really, i like the freedom, but you are attached to something constantly. that never was an issue for me. i love the ease in changing basal rates, if i know i’m going to be working out, or on thanksgiving when i eat all day haha. i think its worth your time to research it, but don’t switch if injections really work for you.

i have never had a nurse or docter not know the difference…wow…
hows the pump? a specialist recommended that for me but it just didnt seem right for. i have been using needles for 11 years and im kinda scared to switch. lol …

well keep up the good work
    :]

    Heya Sarah, thanks …
Heya Sarah, thanks for the vids, yeah I’m T1 and my little sis too, unfortunately we both have depression and sis also has an eating disorder, I always tell people it’s not a problem but really I am struggling. So true how even those who work in the medical profession make the error of confusing type 1 and 2 or have no idea at all, I’m always told “oh you are so young”… anyways, thanks again.
