it is possible to manage diabetes without insulin because Halley beery has type 1 diabetes an she dose not take the insulin she just changed her diet an stuff like that how do i manage type 1 diabetes without that please tell me doctors only an people with type 1 diabetes i really need your help with this

Your information is incorrect……..Type 1 diabetics are producing very little or no insulin from their pancreas, therefore insulin injections (or pump) are needed to sustain life, there are no substitutions.

Type 1 diabetes is where the pancreas stops working all together. There is no way the you can control type 1 with just your diet. You have to take insulin injections. If not, you will do permanent damage to your organs and will die. You really need to find out which type of diabetes you have. If you have been diagnosed with type 1 then your doctor should have given you ample training on how to treat your disease and you would already know the answer to your question and that it is not possible. The pancreas produces insulin. You have glucose in your body and the only way the glucose can be used as energy is for it to enter cells. The only way it can enter the cell is with insulin. If you have type 1, your pancreas will eventually stop working all together. Therefore without injections of insulin, you do not have any and the glucose can not enter the cells, you develop too much sugar in your blood and it spills over into your keytones. Then you develop ketoacidosis and you will die if you do not get to the hospital or get it down immediately. Hope this has helped.

Halley did not have type 1, she had type 2 and it was misdiagnosed.

Type 1 diabetics do not have spontaneous Beta Cell regeneration, which is what would be required to suddenly not need insulin anymore if you are truly a type 1.

    Hi,

I like to compare diabetes with a car crash. Not all crashes are the same, and same thing with the body.

Some type 1 will never be able to use the pancreas again. Some will have limited use, some will recover to enough that artificial insulin will not need to be injected.

How bad is your type 1 diabetes? How bad is someone else? I can almost guarantee that you are not both exactly the same.

Yes diet changes will help most people. Not all.

You might want to read both of these books, and the doctor’s that treated these people with their diet plan saw a reduced need in medications with their patients.

Dr. Barnard’s Program for Reversing Diabetes.

The PH Miracle for Diabetes by Dr. Young.

Both have a list of patients that changed their diet for 3 months and saw the need for medication drop.

However this does not mean that you will ever be able to stop checking your blood sugar levels and stop medication without the risk of becoming out of control and die.

    Good luck.

Sorry but Type 1 diabetics are completely Insulin Dependent. Key word is dependent. There is absolutely no way to properly manage diabetes without insulin. Diet and exercise are also important tools in managing your blood sugars but cannot work without insulin.

Type 1 is when the pancreas produces no insulin what so ever there for it must be manually injected. Treating Type 1 diabetes without taking insulin is like asking if you can treat thirst or dehydration without having to actually drink water.
