    No, but you can cause type 2 Diabetes by poor diet and exercise habits.

    i agree with maggie!! lol im a type 1 diabetic and i was diagnosed when i was 15 i thought it was something i did, the things i ate and i blamed myself for years but its not the diabetic that causes it, and u should never blame urself or ur diet.

    Type 1 just means your pancreas pooped out and does not give your body insulin. I’m not a doctor, but I don’t think there is anything you can do. I think it’s hereditary. Check your family history.
